Every custom home building process is unique, since every family, city, budget, timeline, and home site are unique. That said, for clients who are starting with us from scratch, the process will involve these general steps and time periods.

01 Assess (1 wk) |

The critical first step of our process is verifying if it’s a mutual fit. Our ideal clients value quality and experience over savings and speed. |

02 Dream (1-2 wks) |
|
|
You meet our custom homes team, we visit your site or lots for sale, tour some of our previous homes, and gather architectural inspiration. |

03 Plan (1 mo) |
|
|
We submit contracts, assemble the team, start on preliminary design, and continue to refine the vision and priorities for your dream home. |

04 Design (6 mo) |
|
|
You buy the lot, and start material selections and meeting with the architect; we get city approvals and work on structural plans. |

05 Build (12-18 mo) |
|
|
Time to break ground! By this point you’ll have closed escrow, and continued your selections (flooring, tile, paint); we finish construction. |

06 Enjoy (lifetime) |
|
|
